Responsibilities include:
Managing relationships with key contacts at several US brands
Selecting and introducing key products to the Canadian Market
Creating launch strategies for products and brands in Canada including:
Pricing strategy (in conjunction with sales)
Educational strategy
Promotional strategy
Managing promotional budgets
Managing National Demo Program

The ideal candidate for this position will have relevant university education and at least 3-5 years previous experience managing consumer product brands at a distributor level. Major Responsibilities

Our client is a leading EPC firm involved in projects in energy, mining and
petrochemical. They are currently in urgent need of a Lead Structural Engineer
to work out of their Oakville office.
As Lead Structural Engineer you will be responsible for the civil and structural
design and supervision of civil/structural team. The projects will be in the
process/industrial, cement, power generation (wind farms and co-generation), and
mining industries.
Further responsibilities will include preparing conceptual and detailed design
calculations, layouts, sketches and specifications. You will also prepare
proposals, feasibility studies, design criteria, reports, preliminary design and
engineering specifications. Further you will conduct site visits and inspections
in order to address any design problems and prepare reports on your findings and
solutions. You will also liaise with clients, authorities and contractors.
A qualified candidate must have the following:
- Structural/Civil Engineer with 15+ years of relevant experience in the
consulting industry
- P.Eng registration in Ontario
- Previous North American experience is required and site experience is
preferred
- Excellent knowledge of steel and reinforced concrete structures for buildings
- Excellent knowledge of pipe racks, site works, drainage, channels, roads and
