Marketing Assistant
Are you an outgoing professional with a dynamic personality? We are currently seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our team at Georgian Downs. Georgian Downs, a subsidiary of Great Canadian Gaming Corporation, is located in Innisfil, Ontario near Barrie and offers a variety of entertaining and exciting attractions. In addition to the live races, horse racing from other racetracks across North America are simulcast daily from 12:30 PM to 11:30 PM. The Georgian Downs casino offers 400 slot machines (operated by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation) which are open for fun and entertainment 365 days of the year from 9 am to 3 am. As the Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing guests equine / horse racing and wagering information as well as assisting with external and internal promotions and special events. You will support the marketing team and work switchboard on race nights as required. The Marketing Assistant co-ordinates customer benefit/player rewards programs and processes related data for tracking purposes. This position is 32 hours a week with varied shifts. The successful candidate will have a post secondary education in Marketing; superior computer skills including Excel, Word and Power Point; and excellent communication skills.
