In this entry-level full-time field sales position, you are responsible for selling and servicing new accounts as you continue to grow and service existing accounts of restaurant, lodging, and other institutional foodservice customers. You are the solution for appreciative customers who operate around the clock.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
* While working independently, you will learn your customers' operations, understand their cleaning challenges, and devise cleaning solutions to meet their needs.
* You will combine your sales and prospecting skills with your mechanical apptitude to install and repair dish machines, laundry equipment, and dispensing systems.
* Ecolab will jump start your career with a training program that consists of on-the-job training as well as attending classroom training through Ecolab University at our headquarters.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
* With your previous sales experience, you must have proven ability to be resilient, persuasive, and deliver results.
* You must possess mechanical reasoning ability and exhibit problem solving skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment and dispensing systems, in addition to your outstanding consulting skills.
* You must display excellent planning and organizational skills, strong relationship management capability, and demonstrate the flexibility to adapt and adjust your day to assist your customers in order to succeed in this fast paced multi-tasking environment.
* You must be able to lift and/or carry 50 pounds and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
* University degree or college diploma preferred.
* Prefer Industry-related experience in foodservice or hospitality.
